The DiREC project, represented by Dr Adewole Adesiyun (FEHRL) participated at the Belgian Road Congress ( www.congresdelaroute.be ) last 4th April at the Session “CCAM CEDR Research: Impact CAD sur la sécurité des routes intelligentes”

The vision of DiREC project is to develop a common framework to support NRAs to provide better engagement with stakeholders (OEMs and service providers), identify opportunity and risk, develop strategy and tools of providing different levels of support to the realisation of future CAD.

DiREC project is a Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR) Transnational Road Research Programme Call 2020 project (September 2021 – August 2023) aiming to establish a common framework to support NRAs to provide better engagement with OEMs and service providers, identify clearer responsibilities and liabilities, and include tools to calculate the costs and benefits of providing different levels of support to CAVs.
